Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 July 2026
Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GoPaSg ("we", "us", or "our") handles information across our mobile applications (each an "App", together the "Apps") and this website. It applies to every App published by GoPaSg that links to this Policy, and to gopasg.com.

The Policy has three parts:

  • Part A— practices common to all our Apps.
  • Part B— App-specific details, describing anything unique to an individual App. For each App, read Part A together with that App's section in Part B.
  • Part C— practices specific to the gopasg.com website (separate from the Apps).

By using any of our Apps or this website, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Part A

Practices Common to All GoPaSg Apps

1. Summary

  • Our Apps generally do not require you to create an account or sign in unless stated otherwise in Part B.
  • Content you create or save (such as preferences and saved entries) is stored on your deviceunless an App's Part B section says otherwise.
  • We use third-party services (such as Google Firebase and Google AdMob) that collect certain device and usage data to provide analytics and advertising.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information stored on your device

Unless stated otherwise in Part B, the following stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

  • App settings and preferences.
  • Content and entries you create within the App.
  • Trial/first-launch dates, which may be stored securely in the device Keychain to manage free trials.

2.2 Information collected automatically by third-party services

When you use our Apps, the following services may automatically collect information:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase – usage events, app interactions, approximate device information (device model, operating system version, language, region), and diagnostic data used to understand performance and improve our Apps.
  • Google AdMob (advertising)– for Apps or tiers that show ads, Google may collect device information, IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure advertisements. Our Apps do not ask to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the ads shown are non-personalized.
  • Firebase App Check– device attestation data used to protect our services from abuse.

Some Apps use Google Cloud Firestore to deliver content and reference data. Unless an App's Part B section states otherwise, this is read-only reference content and we do not write your personal information to Firestore.

2.3 Subscription and purchase information

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play), depending on where you downloaded the App. Apple and Google handle your payment and do not share your full payment details with us. We receive only the transaction/entitlement status needed to unlock features. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google Play's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate each App's features.
  • Serve and measure advertisements where applicable.
  • Understand usage and improve performance and reliability.
  • Manage free trials and premium entitlements.
  • Protect our Apps and services from fraud and abuse.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party providers listed above (Google and Apple) solely to provide their services, under their own privacy policies:

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Your Choices and Rights

  • Advertising:Our Apps show non-personalized ads and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. You can review ad-related settings on your device — on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, and on Android under Settings → Google → Ads.
  • Local data: You can delete locally stored data by deleting the App from your device.
  • Access / deletion: Where we do not maintain personal accounts, most data is under your direct control on your device. To make a privacy request, contact us (Section 9).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), or Malaysia's PDPA. We will honor applicable rights where required.

6. Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by Google and Apple is retained according to their respective policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

8. International Users

Our Apps use services (Google, Apple) that may process data on servers located outside your country. By using our Apps, you understand your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws.

9. Changes & Contact

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.

Part C

GoPaSg Website (gopasg.com)

These practices apply to this website specifically, separate from the Apps described in Parts A and B.

1. Information We Collect

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising SDKs, and does not collect your device's precise location.

We do collect the information you choose to submit through our forms:

  • Course Registration: full name, email address, WhatsApp number, course/service interest, and any message you include.
  • Support Tickets: full name, email address, the app the request relates to, and the issue description you provide.

If our database is briefly unreachable, a submission may be saved temporarily in your browser's local storage on your own device so it isn't lost.

2. How We Use and Store This Information

We use these details only to respond to your registration or support request — to confirm receipt by email, follow up with you by email or WhatsApp, and keep a record of the request for support purposes.

Submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and processed by the Firebase Trigger Email extension to send confirmation and notification emails. Firebase acts as our data processor and does not use your data for its own purposes. We do not sell or share this information with any other third party.

3. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain registration and support ticket records for as long as reasonably needed to provide support and keep accurate service records. Course registrations should be submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of a child student. You may contact us at any time (see Part A, Section 9) to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have submitted through this website.
